Walter O’Connell is a Senior Consultant at Porto Leone Consulting, LLC (“PLC”) and is responsible for executing cost segregation studies and tangible asset valuations. Mr. O’Connell has over three years of valuation and cost segregation experience.
Prior to PLC, Mr. O’Connell held the position of Manager of both Morel Cottet and Marcolin Eyewear Companies, heading the Planning, Production and Inventory Control groups for the U.S. market. Before that, Walter served as Planning, Forecasting, and Inventory Control Manager for Levelor Home Fashions, a division of Newell Rubbermaid, in Rockaway, New Jersey. As a member of the Levelor Management Team, Walter focused on the Machinery, Production, Quality and Production Flow aspects of the Manufacturing Process.
Mr. O’Connell has executed cost segregation studies on several hundred properties throughout the United States; including shopping centers, medical office buildings, hotels, senior living facilities, office buildings and other retail properties. He also has experience in tangible asset valuations for tax, book, business planning, financing and insurance purposes in the Hospitality, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Food Processing, Cable and Telecommunications industries both nationally and internationally.
Mr. O’Connell holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Kean College of New Jersey. He is a Candidate Member with the American Society of Appraisers.
